Mission Statement
Rancho Bodega School is a unique, private, non traditional Secondary School emphasizing music, art, and creativity. As advocates for youth, Rancho Bodega serves the needs of our diverse populations by providing educational opportunities that engage and teach to the students strengths. We also feel it is important to emphasize problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills needed for lifelong learning. Motivating students to achieve meaningful educational outcomes is an integral aspect of our philosophy.
Rancho Bodega School provides a caring, enriched education for students that need a smaller learning environment, individual programs, and one-on-one teaching. It is our goal to address each students' academic needs by individualizing our programs to help ensure educational success. We are devoted to providing an affordable option to public school. We also offer a G.L. Rivera Scholarship for low income, disadvantaged students that meet specific criteria. By emphasizing music, art, and creativity, we hope to motivate and inspire a passion for lifelong learning.
Educational Philosophy
Our goal at Rancho Bodega School is to address each student's unique educational needs. As many students struggle with life's complexities, we strive to find ways that youth can grow and learn from the diversity and challenges in life. Introducing concepts and ideas that help students become responsible, independent thinkers are key components of our program.
While offering "core" subjects needed for high school graduation, we seek to enhance the educational experience by integrating Direct Instruction, Project Based Learning, and Individual Development within the framework of the class. Our school provides many options for students to explore and develop artistic desires. Students are encouraged to play instruments, write poetry, paint murals, and photograph life !!
